iPhone 5s VS iPhone 6

iPhone 5s vs iPhone 6
With each new version of any smartphone, there will be a lot of similarities — and a few differences as well. Some specs will stay the same, while only a few will change usually.
This is the case with most phones, and it’s also the case when comparing the iPhone 5s to the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
There are a few cool new changes to these phones, but the majority of technology contained in these phones is virtually the same as the iPhone 5s.

For the rest of this article, we will be comparing the iPhone 5s with the standard iPhone 6 to keep confusion at a minimum. And since the 6 and 6 Plus are so similar minus the screen size, it doesn’t make a lot of sense comparing these three phones.
Lets start off with appearance. The iPhone 5s has a smaller screen size at 4 inches, while the iPhone 6 has a slightly larger screen size coming in at 4.7 inches. Aside from that, the phone looks very similar and has the standard iPhone look. The only difference is that the edges of the 6 are slightly more round.
Both cameras take 8 megapixel pictures and are almost the exact same. The only difference is that the iPhone 6 takes a bigger panorama.
Video recording is also another area where the 6 excels, but only slightly. The iPhone 6 has Continuous Auto focus Video and Cinematic Video Stabilization, whereas the 5s lacks these features. The iPhone 6 also provides an additional slo-mo video option of 240 fps.
The iPhone 6 also has a bigger battery as well. With the iPhone 6, you’ll get 14 hours of talk time on 3G. That’s four more hours than the iPhone 5s.
The FaceTime camera on the 6 has two more features than the iPhone 5s. With the iPhone 5s, you get Auto HDR for photos, but on the iPhone 6 you get Auto HDR for photos as well as videos. The 6 also has improved facial detection features.
The iPhone 6 comes with a new feature called Apple Pay. This lets you pay with your iPhone using Touch ID in stores and apps.
The iPhone 6 also has NFC, or near field communication. NFC “is a form of short-range wireless communication where the antenna used is much smaller than the wavelength of the carrier signal,” according to Wikipedia.
The 6 also has a new feature that’s called VoLTE, or Voice over LTE, which is a relatively new technology.
As you can see, there are a few new changes, but nothing significant. When comparing the cheapest models of both phones, the iPhone 5s is $100 less than the iPhone 6.
